    Rosenstein attended Harvard Law school and graduated in 1989 before he became a law clerk and then a fellow at the school in later years. After doing a clerkship, Rosenstein became part of the Department of Justice and worked under several different attorneys.

    In fact, at the time he worked indirectly under Robert Muller. He worked for several years as an attorney before he got promoted to Deputy Assistant Attorney General he then became a US attorney where he argued cases for the government.

    He spent several years doing this in the District Court of Maryland before being nominated to become a judge on his Court of Appeals. Unfortunate, he was not confirmed to that role because of the location where he lived.

    Several years later, Donald Trump came into power and fired almost all of the US attorneys around the country. Nevertheless, he rehired Rosenstein to be Deputy Attorney General, and Rosenstein was confirmed almost unanimously.

    Rosenstein will be best known for appointing Robert Muller after Atty. Gen. Jeff sessions had to recuse himself from the Russia investigation because he had not told the truth about connections that he had with Russians before the election.
