Born on September 1, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, she spent most of her early childhood with her mother in North Hollywood and half of her time at her father’s in New York City. As her father being a DJ, Chanel was seeing the musical world very closely as she would go with him to various nightclubs where he used to perform. Chanel’s ethnicity is of English and Jewish heritage.
At a very early age, she started to take part in singing and dancing classes out of her passion. Chanel reportedly said once that the first song that made her start rapping was of Tupac Shakur’s “How Do U Want It”.
In the year 2010, Chanel took her shot and appeared in an episodic MTV series The Hard Times. She is said to be introduced into the television industry by Rob Dyrdek. She later performed in a series called Ridiculousness as a main cast member in which she, along with Dyrdek and Sterling review the online videos.
In 2012, Chanel found her TV career to be taking off as she appeared in both the series she had been appearing in since the start of her career. She continued working in Fantasy Factory’s fifth season and the second season of Ridiculousness. Chanel played a voice-over character for the cartoon character of Flipz in a computer-animated series, Wild Grinders.

Chanel officially signed with a record label in the year 2011 with Polow Da Don on his record label Zone 4. However, she withdrew the contract without releasing any music. 2011 was the time when musicians and singers started making more money online.
Therefore, without any deal with any music label, Chanel decided to upload her own material to be available for download online. Her first exclusive upload was a music video called “I Love Money”.
Her successful rap streak started when Lil Wayne signed Chanel to his label Young Money Entertainment in 2012. In 2013, she worked with Snoop Dogg, French Montana, Honey Cocaine and Ty Dolla $ign on a mixtape album called Now You Know. Chanel portrayed an independent diva vibe that inspired many women and helped her to promote her mixtape.
She later released her albums Punch Drunk Love Tour and the Now You Know Tour. She also made her music video out for “Been On”, feat. French Montana.
Although rapping was always her dream to pursue, she took a chance to started as an actress first, hoping that a career at MTV would help her promoting her rap career in the long run. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to have happened, and Chanel has been away from the industry for a few years now.
Though Chanel West Coast is primarily known for her affiliation with Rob Dyrdek, appearing on his MTV shows The Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness, Chanel began her career attempting to break into the rap industry and is continuing to pursue that today. All of her endeavors have earned Chanel West Coast an estimated net worth of $200,000, despite previous financial issues.
Chanel West Coast Net Worth 2018 & 2019
It is a little known fact that the 25-year-old blonde is signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money record label, and 2018 might be the year she produces her first album. Chanel West Coast has an estimated net worth of $200,000 currently, but it wasn’t too long ago that she filed for bankruptcy. In 2012 she had the courts forgive her $29,0000 of debt from her credit cards, late cable bills, and prior legal fees.
Given her current estimated net worth, that debt forgiveness really helped and Chanel was able to do a little saving in the aftermath. Her co-star Rob Dyrdek is one of the highest-paid figures on television, raking in $140,000 per episode, so chances are she probably doesn’t do bad per episode herself.
As of 2019, Chanel West Coast Estimated Net Worth is $6 Million.
