However, the Bourne Identity’s movie star has made a different choice, as Matt Damon is quarantined in a small Irish town, Dalkey Ireland, with his family. The fans of the superstar still couldn’t understand, that why he is staying in a small village situated in a seaside hamlet southeast of Dublin with a population of 8,000 instead of his splendid and luxurious penthouse in the USA.
While Damon’s presence in the town has become a great pleasure and an unusual reality for the residents, still, the confusion of why is Matt selected Dalkey to hunker down has left fans mystified.
According to the reports, Damon was in the Irish town for the shooting of his upcoming drama, ‘the last duel.’ The drama thriller starring Damon and Ben Affleck, who is also the co-writer of the script alongside Nicole Holofcener. The director of this movie Ridley Scott has suspended production amid the pandemic.
After the suspension of shooting, the movie star with his family decided to stay at their house in Dalkey instead of going back to their multimillion-dollar luxury penthouse in Brooklyn. Although Damon went there for business purposes, now it has become his second home due to this pandemic.
However, before lockdown, the down-to-earth superstar obliging those who requested to snap a photo. The superstar has also seen driving a car while his wife was jogging in the Irish atmosphere.
