The Low Down On The Walking Dead Mid-Season Finale
If you still haven’t watched the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, and wondering IF anyone died, then you have come to the right place. We have all the answers, and spoilers (you have been warned).
All the different communities have found peace after Ricks war with Negan, and have thus entered a new world. Kingdom, Hilltop, Alexandra, Sanctuary and Oceanside have finally come together and found a way to live in peace and harmony so they can rebuild their society. Die-hard fans should know that this peace will not last forever because this is the Walking Dead. Especially now, that the Whisperers have arrived. (cue chilling background music)
Now that the Walking Dead mid-season finale is over, it’s time to make some predictions. We have compiled a list of characters that are still left on the show, and we’ll also predict who we think will survive till the end.
Characters That Died This Season
Paul “Jesus” Rovia (Tom Payne)
Our Prediction: Lives
Result: Dead
How: He was stabbed by a Whisperer while holding back the horde at the cemetery.
Arat (Elizabeth Ludlow)
Prediction: Lives
Result: Dead
How: Arat was killed for her old crimes by the members of Oceanside.
Gregory (Xander Berkeley)
Prediction: Dead
Result: Dead (hey, we got this one right!)
How: Poor Gregory was hanged by in a public execution by Maggie after he plotted to have her killed. (shocking turn of events right here ladies and gentlemen)
Characters That Are MIA
Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln)
Prediction: Dead
Result: MIA
How: Rick was seriously wounded while saving the communities from a walker horde. Later, Jadis makes a deal with the strange chopper to transport Rick parts unknown. The network has announced that this character will return to the Walking Dead in a series of original films. So rest assured he is not going to be MIA forever, well till he dies.
Jadis/Anne (Pollyanna McIntosh)
Prediction: Dies (what can we say, we predicted a lot of deaths)
Result: MIA
How: She flew off in a chopper with the severely injured Rick to parts unknown. We’ll be saying both Rick and Judis in those future Walking Dead movies.
Characters That Are Still Walking
Alden (Callan McAuliffe)
Prediction: Lives
Result: Alive and breathing
Alden is a relatively new addition to the cast and has quickly gone from being a Saviour to a Hilltopper. Thus far, his story looks like its revolving around Maggie. Could he be a possible love interest for Maggie? Only time will tell. Although this is one of the most popular fan theories on the internet right now.
Siddiq (Avi Nash)
Prediction: Lives
Result: Alive and breathing
He is an integral part of the community because he is a trained doctor. Avi Nash is one of the main characters in season 9 of the Walking Dead.
Enid (Katelyn Nacon)
Prediction: Lives
Result: Alive and breathing
When we were first introduced to the character she was a loner and over the years has become an important member of the Hilltop. Expect to see much more of her this season.
