Since the world has witness an economic crisis and many businesses has been shut down. The death toll is still on rise, and the experts are looking for way outs to stop the spread. Therefore, 36 celebrities hopped a call with Dr. Fauci in April, who is MD of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. He is also member of White House Coronavirus Task Force. Kim Kardashian arranged a private Zoom call between Dr. Fauci and other celebrities including, Orlando Bloom, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Katy Perry, Brad Falchuk and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Dr. Fauci agreed to hop the call. The celebs were looking ahead to share lifesaving info with their millions of followers. The celebs have an enormous number of followers and they will follow their footsteps of wearing masks and avoid crowds for maintaining social distancing. According to some sources, Kim also wanted to ask some questions regarding the spread of the virus as there were many inaccurate information floating on social media and platforms and she was looking to clear her ambiguities. However, Kim also faced backlash earlier this month after her private island birthday party photos went viral. Social media users and some celebrities criticized her for celebrating the birthday party amid the pandemic. As the guest weren’t wearing the masks and they also didn’t maintain social distancing.

In a recent interview, Dr. Fauci said that celebrities had a positive discussion with him and Kim played a significant role in arranging the call. They discussed different aspects regarding the deadly virus. The conference call was joined by movie and sports celebs and all they wanted to know was about the ways to stay safe. They discussed about wearing masks, social distancing and to avoid crowds. Dr. Fauci later in an interview with CNN said, “I was impressed by the questions they asked, by their level of sophistication.”
