He is also a celebrity spokesman of Pencils of Promise.
However, Bieber’s active participation in charitable programs and donation has made him among the youngest celebrities who are giving out for the betterment of society. In 2013, he became a part of the #GiveBackPhilippines campaign to support the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. He raised around $3 million and traveled to the Philippines to support the victims. His efforts were highly appreciated in the Filipino and international media.
