Jeremy Lee Renner is an American actor who was born in Modesto, California, United States. He was born on January 7, 1971, to Father Lee Renner, who was McHenry Bowl’s manager in the 1980s. His mother is Valerie Cearley (née Tague). He is the eldest son of the seven children of the Renner family. His parents were married to each other as siblings, divorcing each other when he was only ten years old.

Jeremy Renner attended Fred C. Beyer High School in Modesto where he graduated from in 1989. He later joined Modesto Junior College where he pursued computer science and criminology. He was to then study drama as an elective subject before he decided to stick to it and pursue acting.
