Disney Princes Net Worth: Aladdin, Prince Charming

It’s fun to think about how great it must be to be a royal. Living in a castle, fame, and having power over an entire country are just a few perks that can come to mind. Along with all of the power, they also are up to their crowns in cash.

Disney Princes Net Worth: Aladdin, Prince Charming

What about those royals portrayed in popular culture? Royalty portrayed in movies, such as the wonderful world of Disney, have it all: the looks, the kingdom, and some fine arm candy to top it all off. This article ranks the five Disney princes who have the highest net worth in the world of Disney.
All facts were taken from Disney’s Wikipedia pages:

Aladdin Net Worth: $2.03 billion: $30 million ($2.0 billion inheritance)

Aladdin from Disney’s “Aladdin”, makes the number one spot as a prince who fully embraces 50 Cent’s, “started from the bottom now we’re here” lifestyle. This one-time street rat won the heart of the beautiful Princess Jasmine, and after a few bumps in the road, married her and is in line to become the Sultan of Agrabah. Agrabah, the fictional city where Aladdin and the whole gang live, is inspired by Baghdad, Iraq. Since present Baghdad doesn’t have a Sultan, the next source is the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, whose net worth is $20 billion. With all of this hard earned cash (insert sarcastic tone here), I’m sure Abu isn’t receiving the short end of the stick on this either. Can you say, bananas for days?

Prince Phillip Net Worth: $580 million: $30 million ($550 million inheritance)

Prince Phillip from “Sleeping Beauty” with a net worth of $30 million. Phillip is the Prince of Ulstead, whose character is inspired by the real Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh…and James Dean. This makes sense, because he is the best looking prince out of all of them. Move over Eric, baby blues have nothing on Phillip’s red cape ensemble. The Duke of Edinburgh, who is currently 93 years old, has a net worth of $30 million. But, what really knocks Phillip to the top of the list is that he marries Princess Aurora, whose father is the King of England. When Phillip and Aurora take the throne after the kingdoms merge, Philip will have a net worth of $580 million. Currently, the real Queen of England has a net worth of $550 million. Talk about once upon a dream, huh?

Prince Eric Net Worth: $80 million: $40 million inheritance (Another $40 million inheritance)

Prince Eric of “The Little Mermaid” was born into royalty. As the Prince of a Kingdom that takes place in Denmark, Eric currently embodies the real Crown Frederik Prince of Denmark. Since Prince Frederik’s net worth is buried on the Internet, it is safe to assume that he will inherit his mother’s net worth, which is about $40 million. Now, keep in mind that Prince Eric also married Ariel, who is the princess of Atlantica. If we assume that Triton eventually resigns, and her six older sisters do not marry, Eric will then inherit another $40 million, thus boosting his net worth to $80 million. So, Eric will have power over the land and the sea, gaining an extra $40 million in the process. Not to mention a hot, crustacean band. Take notes, boys.

Prince Henry Charming Net Worth: $40 million (inheritance: unknown)

Prince Henry Charming, the prince who would have won the superlative “Mr. Personality” in Disney’s “Cinderella”, is worth $40 million. The Prince’s kingdom and castle takes place in France, and since there are no current monarchs in the country, we can assume that his net worth would be similar to that of Prince William, who like Charming, is second in line to take the throne. Let’s face it, he needs this chunk of cash for a number of things including clothing for little mice, and Cinderella’s growing proclivity for glassware. Since there is no king in France, and the net worth of President Francois Hollande was $1.3 million last year, it is hard to tell how much Prince Charming will inherit when he becomes king. We will just keep him at number four on the list, because he is nice to look at.

Prince Adam (Beast) Net Worth: $40 million (inheritance: unknown)

Prince Adam, mostly known as “the Beast”, in “Beauty and the Beast” falls in the fifth spot because of a number of things, but mostly because of the spell he was under for ten years. The castle, inside and out, was in complete disarray (though I commend the staff for its immaculate transformation by the end of the film…must have to do with the whole magic spell being lifted, too). It is safe to say that for the last ten years, Adam did very little ruling, thus having little to no economic impact on his provincial town. I’d bank that his net worth went down a smidge as well. (Side note: How did people not realize he was their Prince?) Anyways, the location of Beast’s castle was located east of a provincial farming community in France, which leaves us around the same ballpark as Prince Charming with a net worth of $40 million. It seems that Adam has no superior, so maybe $40 million is all he is worth. Shucks. He does have a nice library, though. Also, didn’t we like him better as a beast? Human Adam is just plain creepy.
