In her Instagram post, the movie star mentioned, “I’m so moved to see everyone’s images of earth healing all around us,” she captioned her photo, adding: “This feels louder and clearer than ever as we face this worldwide challenge.”

This post came after almost a month when she posted a video of herself singing John Lennon’s classic song ‘Imagine.’ However, that post got a mixed reaction from her fans as most of them defined it as an act out of touch. Many social media users took this step as an artificial stunt, who had severe issues with the fact that most of the clips were filmed from all ideal places to self-isolate. However, many famous Hollywood stars came in support of Gal Gadot and posted their opinions to defend the Wonder Woman. So, we should also take this as a positive message from Gal for people to stay safe in their homes in this crucial situation.

Many leading superstars posted their videos or message on social media to pay tribute to this planet and specifically appealed for “three days of action”.

Alyssa Milano, the famous actress and singer, said in her tweet on Wednesday 22nd, 2020:

“Today is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and the start of 3 days of powerful, collective action online led by youth activists. Join us! Strike, divest, and vote for our future”.

Moreover, the Oscar Award Winner actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, came upon the Instagram and posted, “Today marks the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. This year there are two crises: One is the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The other is a slowly building disaster for our climate. The world was not prepared for the novel coronavirus, but we still have time to prepare in every part of the world for the climate crisis. The urgency has never been greater, and the stakes have never been higher – we face mass extinction of species, catastrophic pollution of oceans, destruction of communities, and displacement of millions”.

Just like these stars raising voices to protect our land from climate crisis, we all should play our part in spreading awareness about the disaster that could hit us sooner or later.
