In high school, Sedrick Hodge played football for The Westminster Schools. Hodge played college football for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill team.
In the 2001 NFL draft, Hodge was chosen in 3rd round by New Orleans Saints as the 70th pick overall. During the five seasons Sedrick played with Saints, he recorded 208 tackles and 1 sack in the 63 games. Hodge’s career-best figures came in 2002 when he posted 74 tackles and defended 4 passes.
After finishing five seasons with New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins signed Sedrick Hodge for 2006 season. However, he didn’t get a chance to play for Dolphins as he was sacked right before the start of the season. After that, Hodge retired from the NFL.
