In terms of his family life, he is the youngest of a big family featuring seven children. His ethnic makeup is of English, Irish, Scottish and German ancestry. Before he got famous, Seann William Scott only got small bit parts in little TV shows in the late ’90s called Unhappily Ever After and Something So Right. His film debut was for a movie called Born Into Exile where he was a supporting actor. 

    Seann William Scott’s biggest role of his entire career came in 1999 when he was cast as the character of Steve Stifler in the raunchy comedy called American Pie. Even though he was not the main character, his role was easily the funniest and made him a star in Hollywood. The role also got him nominated for ‘Best Villain’ in the Teen Choice Awards. Despite being the best part of the American Pie movie, he reportedly was only paid $8000 for this role in the first movie. 

    Seann William Scott continued to play the role of Steve Stifler in the sequels called American Pie 2, American Wedding and reprised the role for the final time in 2012 in American Reunion. He must have gotten a big raise for appearing in the sequel because he’s much richer now than the puny $8000 he got before.
