Billed from “Samoan Islands”; Tonga Sam Fatu has had a surprising wrestling career which debuted in 1983 and which ended in 2011. In the ring, Sam Fatu was trained by Afa Anoa’i, and Sika Anoa’i. Sam Fatu married Theresa Fuavai-Fatu, and is part of the Anoa’i family. At the end of 1986, he teamed up with with Tonga Fifita and who was wrestling under the name King Tonga.
He was renamed to Tama, while Fifta was renamed to Haku. They were knon as The Islanders.
