For the third year in a row, Forbes has once again named Robert Downey Jr. the highest paid actor in the world.
According to Forbes, thanks in part to his mega role in the Avengers: Age of Ultron, Downey took home $80,000,000 last year, beating out the next highest paid actor (Jackie Chan) byt $30,000,000.
33 actors from 7 countries (the first international ranking by Forbes ever) graced the list, including expected names like Tom Cruise and Mark Wahlberg to round out the top ten.
Last year, Downey’s yearly earnings weren’t too far off from the $80,000,000 from this past year. Downey reportedly made $75,000,000 the year before.
How does the highest paid actor in the entire world live?
Well, for one, he owns a nice array of property.
Downey bought a $13.4 million 7-acre residence in Malibu in 2009 and owns several other properties throughout California worth millions he’s purchased subsequently.
He also owns an extensive and classic car collection.
