    Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Nick Foles graduated from Westlake High School. He set himself as a noticeable athlete on his school football team from his early years as he broke most school records. Foles did equally well on basketball and was even honored with two MVP honors.

Though he initially committed to Arizona State, he later attended Michigan State and ultimately transferred to the University of Arizona.
