Lloyd Anoaʻi is part of the Anoaʻi family which is famous for wrestling. Lloyd started training in wrestling at an early age with his father Afa and uncle Sika. Lloyd made his debut in professional wrestling in 1987.
Lloyd Anoa’ I formed a wrestling tag team with his brother Samu, and they wrestled in competitions with the tag team ring name; “The Headshrinkers.” In mid-nineties, Anoa’ I started wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation. In 1993, Anoa’i took the ring name ‘Tahitian Warrior’ and wrestled for the Puerto Rican Wrestling Council.
