David’s most recent act of hilarity was through his portrayal of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live.
Despite equally hilarious performances by Alec Baldwin as Jim Webb and Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton, David’s Bernie Sanders stole the show.
According to The Rolling Stone, David’s impression achieved “the perfect balance between spirited revolutionary and impatient Jewish grandpa.”
David is a favorite in comedy for many Americans, but his ability to achieve SNL success during political season is a crucial way to earn younger fans who Seinfeld is vintage humor for.
Also most recently in the news was the findings of David’s 21-year-old daughter’s Instagram account. Cazzie David is being deemed as one of the missed “Rich Kids of Instagram” after review of her account gives glimpse to the comfortable life the David family lives.
Her account features her in a lot of pools, on a lot of beaches, drinking premium French Rose (did you know wine besides Franzia existed at 21?) and just doing other great rich kid things.
Unfortunately, while David is still super ridiculously wealthy, his fortunate was halved in 2007 following the divorce to his wife of 14 years and California divorce laws that make such a financial loss possible.
And while David admits he’s made a lot of money through syndication, he has said publicly many times that most of the astronomical figures he reads are totally wrong.
We’d have to guess that David’s current net worth, in recovery from his divorce proceedings, is around $350,000,000 to $400,000,000, making him still one of the richest comedians to date.
