    Kanye West’s electoral campaign raised a total of $14,538,989. Kanye ran under the banner of Birthday Party. He focused his campaign on Christian values, fiscal conservatism, and criminal justice reforms. Along with that, he spent around $7.5 Million on ballot access. However, Kanye was on the ballot only in 12 states. Moreover, the traditional campaign relies on television, radio, and digital advertising. He garnered around 66,000 votes, and it averages that every voter costs him $200. The financial documents have been released after his divorce from reality star Kim Kardashian. The 2020 presidential elections have cost the rapper/fashion designer around $12.5 Million.

It is also said that the reason behind the divorce is Kanye’s decision to contest the election. They were also rumors that Kanye is dating Makeup artist Jeffree Star, but she denied the rumors and said that it is the ridiculous thing she has ever heard. There’s an agreement between Kim and Kanye over the custody of the kids, as they will stay with Kim, but Kanye would be allowed to meet them whenever he wants to.

The Federal Election Commission has released the report of the financial documents. The celebrity star self-funded the major part of his run for president. He was able to only raise around $2 Million from outside contributors.
