No hard feelings here! There is nothing but brotherly love in this blended family. Aqua Man star, Jason Momoa gave a small token of friendship to the legendary singer Lenny Kravitz, his wife’s ex-husband. He shared a photograph on Instagram that showed himself and the “Low” singer, as they showed of their new accessories.
“I’m a huge fan of the artists I meet on Instagram love spreading the aloha. I got @lennykravitz a present made by @leroyswoodentattoos amazing bone skull ring,” he captioned the shot. “Check him out insta. Mahalo Lenny for coming to support me on @nbcsnl aloha j.”
On the weekend Lenny Kravitz showed his support when the Games Of Thrones alum hosted Saturday Night Live on December 8. On the show he reprised his role as ‘Khal Drogo’ from the cult favorite Games Of Thrones. On his own Instagram post, Lenny Kravitz wrote, “My Brother @prideofgypsies is doing his thing right now on @nbcsnl.”
The experience of hosting the iconic show was a monumental one for the Justice League actor, who said in his opening monologue, “This is probably one of the greatest moments of my life right after having beautiful kids and marrying my red hot smoking wife, Lisa Bonet.”
In October 2017, Momoa and Lisa Bonet secretly tied the knotting after dating for twelve years. This came to surprise to everyone because fans of the couple had assumed they had already been married for years. The couple shares a daughter Lola, 11, and a son Nakao-Wolf, 9.
Bonet, 51, was previously married to her first husband Lenny Kravitz from 1987 to 1993, and the pair share 30 year old daughter Zoe Kravitz. 30 year old Zoe has followed in her mother’s footsteps and is also an actress, and has starred in movie such as Divergent. The young actress has also spoken about the harmony between her blended family.
“My dad and my stepdad get along really well, and my dad loves and is close with my brother and sister.” She opened up to Ocean Drive magazine in 2015. She concluded by saying, “it’s very beautiful.” Her parents, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet have an amicable relationship even after twelve years after splitting. “It makes things so easy that my parents are still very close,” said the actress. She further said, “As long as everyone can be in the same room together, it’s totally healthy.”
Showing public support for each other Jason Momoa and Lenny Kravitz have proven that having a blended family is possible. Co-parenting after a divorce is rare in Hollywood, where former partners are known to tear each other apart.
What do you think of their bromance? Do you find it refreshing or strange? Personally, we think their relationship is refreshing and something to aspire to. A lot of credit goes to Lisa Bonet as well, for creating a special role for her daughters’ father.
