    After residing for four decades in Southern California, Gene Simmons is leaving for Washington State. The high property taxes in California is the reason. The legendary KISS singer and bassist is moving his family to another state. Therefore, he has put his 16,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion up for sale at a whopping price of $22 Million. He bought the mansion in 1984 for $1.35 million, and it was a ranch-style house. The mansion is situated in the neighborhood of Los Angles. However, later he has developed the mansion in European-style. The property is sprawling and gives bling of luxurious touch.

    Gene Simmons Leaving California After Four Decades

    Simmons is a New York native, but this time he is moving to a 24-acre estate in Washington, which is near to Mount Rainier. The growing tax burdens in the Golden State have forced him to take the decision. In an interview, Gene said that California is treating badly the folks who create jobs. He further added that the taxes aren’t acceptable at all. In August 2020, Simmons also put his 2,345-square-foot home for sale in Laurel Canyon. The mansion he is going to sell comes with a coffered ceiling, domed ceiling, and there is a living room, which has 30-foot-high windows. There are several balconies, chandeliers, a wine cellar, and manicured grounds.

    Simmons is fed up with the high-taxes in California. He has finally decided to leave behind California and move to Washington after residing over there for four decades. However, Gene is demanding $22 Million for his Beverly Hills Mansion. Moreover, you would come across, professional tennis court, parking for more than 30 cars, and a stunning pool. However, it would become quite difficult for him to sell the house at the expected price. However, he has decided to move to Washington with his family because of the high taxes in the Golden State.  The uncertainty in the market and fluctuating prices could lead to a drop in the price. However, Gene Simmons has made megabucks, and if the price dips down, it will not have a significant impact on his wealth.
