Have you ever wondered just how expensive homes can get in countries all over the world? Well, a new report revealed what the most expensive home ever sold in China is. The number is insane.

According to a recent CNN report, the Taohuayuan, Suzhou Mansion sold for $154 million. Yes $154 million you read correctly the first time. It broke the record in 2018 and the amenities of the home may justify it for you.
The overall size of the property is 72,441 square feet and features 32 bedrooms, a lake-side swimming pool, wine cellar and bountiful amounts of courtyards and gardens, according to the report.
As it turns out, the name of the property reportedly translates to, “Peach Blossom Land” or “Utopia.” Simply put, if you want your very own utopia, you’ll have to shell out well over $100 million.
It’s okay someone out there had more than enough money laying around and decided that the price was right. Sounds like a steal if you ask us.
A 2014 report listed that the most expensive property listing in the U.S. was $195 million. So, it just so happens that there are plenty more outrageous prices out there for homes.
