Chris Evans was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, but got his start in acting when he moved to New York City. There he began classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. From there he had his first credited appearance in 1997. It was in a small educational video called, Biodiversity: Wild About Life! A few years later, he was featured on a Hasbro’s board game.
