An expert Filipino basketball player, born on June 10, 1981, in Angeles City. Most of his time was occupied by Basketball during his high school time and held the trophy of Central Zone Championship.
Santos knew he had a bright future ahead after playing for the Lubao Institute (High School). He was well recognized when he became part of the zonal competitions; this is where he put on a display of his spectacular hard work.
Later he was signed for the line up of Rodolfo Q. Pineda which was a local club in Lubao. He was supported by Dennis Pineda in his college time, who assisted in finding the right stage for his talent. This is where he found a spot on the collegiate basketball varsity team (FEU Tamaraws men’s Basketball).
Santos real career began when showed up with FEU Tamaraws in UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) in 2002. He was able to put up a performance in a decent yet discrete manner.
It took him six seasons to lead Tamaraws to the title of the UAAP. He was a nominee for the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the match, but the name of MVP was taken from him by James Yat.
