David Schwimmer’s Early & Personal Life
David was born in Flushing, Queens, New York City. he is from Jewish decent. His family then moved to Los Angeles. At the age of 10, he had his first acting experience and he portrayed the role of fairy godmother in a Jewish version of Cinderella. David then entered Southern California Shakespeare Festival for three years in a row and won two first prizes. He has attended Beverly Hills High School.

He completed his degree (Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Speech) at North Western University in 1988. After he graduated, David Schwimmer co-founded a company named The Lookinglass Theatre Company. During the 1980s he lived and worked in L.A, but toiled as he couldn’t find work and was largely unemployed. David Schwimmer’s breakthrough came in 1989 when he played a supporting role in the movie A Deadly Silence. After this, he starred in the legal drama, L.A Law in 1992, and the dramedy The Wonder Years in the same year. His first feature film came in 1991, titled Flight of the Intruder. He also held a re-occurring role as a lawyer in the police drama N.Y.P.D Blue. His first solid role was as the son of an obnoxious T.V commentator in the American sitcom Monty.
