After having finished his high school studies, Chris Hogan decided to attend the Penn State so that it could build a formidable lacrosse program. For three seasons, Chris did not play football but rather focused on collegiate lacrosse. He then made a name for himself after scoring 11 goals in three games as a sophomore. After graduating from Penn State with an extra year of collegiate scholarship, Chris Hogan enrolled at Monmouth and received a spot as a receiver. It was then that he had tried to make it from the practice squads into the first or second strings. However, the Miami Dolphins terminated Chris’s practice squad.

He had been playing actively for them since then. By 2014, Chris made a name for himself by catching 41 balls for 426 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Buffalo Bills then became accustomed to sending Chris out for their games. By 2015, he had played all the 16 games for Buffalo Bills, ending his year 36 receives for 450 yards and two touchdowns.
However by 2016, Chris Hogan had been offered a position that even the Buffalo Bills had found difficult to match. In the first quarter of 2016, after the Buffalo Bills was unable to match the three year $12 million offer by the New England Patriots, Chris was officially a Patriot. In his days as part of the Patriots, Chris had achieved a career high of 114 receiving yards. And that’s not all, after the Patriots’ game against the New York Jets, Hogan was known as the third Patriots wide receiver. By the end of the year, he had set a new best for his career – with 23 receptions for 461 yards.
