A couple who had the bright idea to rob a bank had a similarly bright idea to post the stolen cash on Facebook- via a selfie with one the perps posing with a wad of cash in his mouth.

Robbers Post Facebook Selfies With Stolen Wad of Cash, Get Nabbed

John Mogan, 28, and Ashley Duboe, 24 of Ohio were arrested after the two robbed a bank and then posted pictures of the stolen money in a variety of boasting Facebook selfies.

Mogan had just been released from a five-year prison sentence for- who could guess- robbing a bank previously, and clearly not only did he not learn his lesson, but he also didn’t pick up any common sense.

Mogan posted two photos to his Facebook page, one with the stack of stolen money in his mouth and one pretending to use the stolen money as a phone. His equally intelligent girlfriend posted a photo to her page that showed the two embracing while holding loose money.

Mogan referred to the wad of cash on his photo: “That’s called a McStack,” he allegedly wrote. “I’m doing rrree=aaaaalll) good.”

While it was Mogan who went into the victimized bank and demanded cash, Duboe, being the down chick she is, helped Mogan apply makeup to all of his face tattoos so he could hide the ever-so-incriminating “Loyalty’s Thin” and “Blood’s Thick” tats on opposite cheeks, as well as drove the get-away car.

Law enforcement said the Facebook selfies were what led them directly to the modern-day Bonnie and Clyde. As a result, both Mogan and Duboe are being held on $250,000 bond.
