    Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Nick Foles graduated from Westlake High School. He set himself as a noticeable athlete on his school football team from his early years as he broke most school records. Foles did equally well on basketball and was even honored with two MVP honors.

Though he initially committed to Arizona State, he later attended Michigan State and ultimately transferred to the University of Arizona. After a year at Michigan, he eventually transferred to University of Arizona as a redshirt freshman in 2008. He completed 387-of-560 passes for 4,334 yards and 28 touchdowns, ranking first in the Pac-12 Conference and fifth among all NCAA Division I FBS players with average of 352.58 yards (of total offense) per game. Additionally, he was ranked second in the Pac-12 and 20th among all FBS players in total passing yardage. Foles graduated with a degree in communication from University of Arizona to start off his professional footballing career.

He then signed a one year deal with Kansas City Chiefs on August worth $1.75 million with a second option for 2017 that could go up to $16 million depending on his performance. However, on March 2017, the Chiefs declined a second-year option on his contract making him a free agent.

    Very soon, Nick Foles signed a two-year contract to return to his first team Philadelphia Eagles.
