Currently, the most common type of firework is called a pyrotechnic star. These are usually combined in different varieties to produce colorful patterns. Different types of fireworks include skyrockets and festival balls.

The history of firework displays in the US dates back to the earliest settlers. They

used fireworks to celebrate important events, even before the American revolution. However, 1777 marked the celebration of the first Independence Day, and on this date, fireworks were certainly a part of the celebrations. Fireworks were also utilized to celebrate George Washington’s inauguration.

Given the number of safety and regulation codes surrounding firework usage, a large staff of people is needed to ensure a display is launched successfully and without causing harm to anyone. Additionally, the cost of the fireworks, their safe transportation to the site of launch and then their successful launch all create an expense that can cost any organization quite a bit of money.
