Tur got into journalism after her graduation from college in 2005. She started on local TV in New York and Los Angeles, before moving to the Weather Channel, and then NBC and MSNBC.
At MSNBC, Katie Tur hosts a daily news program, and often is seen hosting the nightly Meet The Press flagship program. She was best known for following Donald Trump across the country during his campaign. At one point during the campaign, Donald Trump attacked her, making her an instant household name.
