Jennifer Lopez claims she has no idea if Alex Rodriguez will put a ring on it. The couple has been dating for a while and still seems smitten with each other.

The singer/actress extraordinaire appeared on Ellen DeGeneres to promote her new movie The Second Act, and obviously, she was grilled on her relationship with A-Rod. When asked whether the two will get married, she replied: “I don’t know”. Alex, 43, and Jennifer Lopez, 49 (say WHAT??) have been dating for two years now and have been pretty coy when it comes to the future of their relationship.

Ellen (who is these years second highest paid TV host) suggests the two should tie the knot because “they seem very happy together.” To this, the “Dinero” singer smiled and said, “We are.”

“He said that Y’all are going to be getting married. … He texted me today,” DeGeneres teased the songstress. Lopez did not take the bait, and denied any future plans: “He did not say that. … Let me see the text.”

The happy couple first made their red carpet debut during the 2017 Met Gala and since then has been pretty much inseparable. Jennifer has gone as far as to call Rodriguez her “twin soul.” (This could be because they REALLY get along or because their birthday is three days apart).

Last month they seemed to spark engagement rumors when Jenny from the block was spotted with diamond sparkler in Boston at Games 1 and 2 of the World Series.

On the flip side, Rodriguez has previously hinted at

proposing to his lady love. During an interview on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, he told the host Jimmy Fallon that he’d be the first to know if he ever proposed to Lopez.

On the topic of he said, she said, Lopez also appeared on Fallon in May this year and talked about engagements (can you spot a pattern here?). While on this subject, Lopez said: “I feel like you know fairly quickly.” She did admit to being scared because she has “made a lot of mistakes.”

If the couple does decide to get married, it will be a fourth marriage for the ever youthful Jennifer Lopez and a second for Rodriguez. She has previously was married to a waiter Ojani Noa ( her love don’t cost a thing) for a year, dancer Cris Judd who she was also married to for a year, who made an appearance in her music video for I’m Gonna Be Alright. Her longest lasting marriage has been to Marc Anthony who she shares her twins. The other two high profile relationships shes been infamous for are Ben Affleck and dancer Casper Smart, both who made appearances in different music videos.

Alex has been infamous for being a ladies man as well, dating Kate Hudson and many others. He was married to Cynthia Scurtis for six years, and they have two daughters together.
